We are on the lookout for a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at our Buena Park facility. In this pivotal role, you will execute a variety of maintenance tasks, including preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing manufacturing equipment. Your commitment to safety and continuous improvement will be key in minimizing unscheduled downtime and enhancing operational efficiency.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Installation:
- Installing and repairing electrical systems, including transformers and wiring, as well as the electrical and electronic components of machinery.
- Setting up piping systems and hydraulic/pneumatic equipment according to design specifications, ensuring compatibility and adherence to pressure requirements.
- Aligning machinery using tools such as hoists, jacks, and levels to ensure optimal performance.
- Preventive Maintenance & Calibration:
- Executing mechanical preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment to uphold operational standards.
- Conducting calibration procedures as outlined in the calibration manual and documenting the outcomes.
- Maintaining and repairing HVAC systems, refrigeration units, fire systems, and other facility equipment.
- Ensuring all production equipment and the industrial facility are in excellent working condition.
- Collaborating effectively as part of a team and working independently when required.
- Assisting production efforts as needed and keeping precise maintenance records.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area in accordance with 5S principles.
