As the Property Manager, you will oversee the successful operation and profitability of our conventional multifamily asset. Your leadership will inspire, motivate, and mentor an exceptional onsite team dedicated to delivering a premier living experience for all residents. In this pivotal role, you will maximize property income, occupancy, and net operating income (NOI). We are seeking a financially astute leader with comprehensive industry knowledge and the capability to devise innovative leasing strategies that will enhance the property’s overall success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Personnel Management: Lead a high-performing onsite team by implementing effective recruitment, training, and development programs. Conduct thorough employee evaluations, including performance reviews and necessary corrective actions.
- Strategic Leasing Management: Maintain an up-to-date understanding of property and competitor offerings through ongoing market assessments. Ensure leasing staff possesses similar knowledge. Successfully showcase properties to prospective residents, implementing effective sales and marketing strategies to achieve optimal rental income and occupancy rates.
- Financial Management: Drive the highest possible net operating income through strategic cost control and revenue enhancement initiatives. Prepare annual operating budgets and forecasts, ensuring timely communication of all operational and financial data to the Regional Manager, while being responsive to owner objectives.
- Customer Service: Oversee resident retention efforts and manage service request follow-up programs. Ensure maintenance staff responds promptly to service requests.
- Administration & Risk Management: Complete all required reports accurately as per Peak policies and any additional requests from owners/supervisors. Conduct monthly inspections of apartments and manage property risks by communicating incidents and potential liabilities.
