Under general supervision, you will carry out professional nursing responsibilities in a variety of settings, including hospitals, emergency rooms, clinics, sanitariums, and other healthcare institutions.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in assigned hospital units, clinics, or any SFDPH environment requiring Registered Nursing expertise;
Monitor and document patient symptoms and conditions accurately;
Measure and record vital signs and other diagnostic metrics such as temperature, respiration, and pulse;
Report any unusual incidents and treatment results promptly;
Prepare treatment trays and instruments, ensuring all equipment is ready for use;
Execute medical and nursing care plans efficiently;
Supervise nursing personnel in delivering patient care;
Ensure the smooth operation of unit or clinic activities;
Assist in administering specialized therapies as needed;
Maintain comprehensive records detailing patient conditions, medications, treatments, and reactions;
Adhere to regulations, policies, and procedures governing nursing care;
May oversee the work of auxiliary staff in supporting patient care and maintaining cleanliness in the ward and equipment;
