Join the prestigious Grecotel Hotels & Resorts, Greece's leading hotel chain, as a Sommelier. In this pivotal role, you will be tasked with the promotion and sales of exquisite wines to our esteemed guests, while meticulously managing the wine inventory. Collaborate closely with the Heads of the Food & Beverage Departments to curate an outstanding wine list that complements our culinary offerings. You will keep the F&B Manager informed about guest consumption trends, suggesting innovative ways to enhance guest services and elevate the hotel’s wine sales.
Your responsibilities will also include training and guiding the service staff to provide exceptional wine recommendations and ensuring the highest standards of wine preservation and service. Furthermore, you will take an active role in planning and executing engaging themed wine-tasting events for our guests, all while adhering to the company’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
