Position Overview: Under the direction of the Finance and Operations Manager, the Facilities Maintenance Technician will be responsible for ensuring cleanliness and maintenance of the office premises, both inside and out. This role is essential to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for all staff and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the cleanliness of outdoor spaces including entrances, walkways, and parking areas.
- Regularly clean common areas within the building, such as staircases, storage spaces, and communal restrooms.
- Ensure all areas are organized, safe, and free from hazards.
- Perform basic gardening tasks, including watering and maintaining plants.
- Disinfect and deodorize plumbing openings.
- Follow a predetermined cleaning schedule for the office courtyard.
- Identify and request necessary cleaning supplies and equipment.
Waste Management:
- Remove leaves and debris from the premises.
- Dispose of waste according to building management standards and local regulations.
- Empty and clean trash bins, depositing waste in designated areas.
- Wash and sanitize garbage containers.
