Job Overview
As a Facilities Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in managing the daily operations, maintenance, safety, and functionality of our facilities. Supporting the Facilities Manager, you will ensure compliance with building regulations, coordinate with vendors and contractors, respond to facility needs, and maintain a safe and efficient work environment across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate regular maintenance of company buildings to ensure safety, compliance, and minimal disruption to operations.
- Ensure facilities adhere to building codes, OSHA, ADA, and health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Manage vendor and contractor performance to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
- Assist with space planning initiatives, including office relocations, reconfigurations, and minor expansions.
- Oversee the procurement of office furniture, fixtures, and equipment according to operational needs and budget constraints.
- Track maintenance and repair expenses, assisting in budget management for facility projects.
- Implement and uphold emergency procedures, including evacuation plans and safety training.
- Inspect and maintain safety equipment such as fire extinguishers, first aid kits, and AEDs.
- Monitor building security systems including access control, surveillance, and alarm systems.
