At Bozard Ford Co, our Facilities team is dedicated to ensuring a clean and safe workspace for our Service Technicians. As a Facilities Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining the facility's upkeep, performing minor repairs, and conducting preventive maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a floor scrubber in the shop area to maintain cleanliness in service bays (training will be provided)
- Sweep and mop floors to uphold hygiene standards
- Collect and sort cardboard materials for recycling via baler
- Replace HVAC filters to ensure optimal air quality
- Perform maintenance on all battery-operated equipment
- Dispose of trash from shops and the exterior campus area
- Conduct general cleaning of shop sinks, lifts, and walls
- Gather used tires and place them in the designated tire pick-up area
- Collect used oil and fuel filters and ensure proper disposal in designated containers
- Assist with landscaping duties as required
- Complete assigned work orders promptly
- Report any potential hazards or damages to the supervisor
- Undertake additional tasks as assigned by the Facilities Manager and Director
We are looking for candidates who exhibit a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to work well within a team. This position is a full-time role with a standard 40-hour work week, including occasional overtime.
Applicants must possess a valid Florida driver’s license and demonstrate knowledge of basic hand tools, as well as the capacity to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
