Qualifications
Key Responsibilities:Sensing & Signal Processing: Integrate engine sensors (temperature, pressure, vibration, speed) and establish clean signal chains through filtering, ADC paths, and isolation.Controls & Algorithms: Develop fuel/ignition/start logic, transient control, and protection loops, as well as state-machine behavior for all engine phases.Actuation & Safety: Manage fuel pumps/meters, ignition hardware, and solenoids/servo drivers, while implementing safety interlocks, watchdogs, and redundancy.Embedded Software: Create real-time ECU/FADEC firmware on DSP/ARM platforms, with a bonus for experience in FPGA for safety logic or signal processing.Integration & Testing: Assist with HIL/EIL setups and calibration of test stands, collaborating with mechanical and combustion teams to ensure FADEC alignment with engine limits.
About the job
Join our innovative team as a FADEC Engineer – Digital Engine Control at LAT Aerospace!
