The Role You’ll Play
ClassPass is in search of a motivated Field Sales Executive to enhance our merchant network by acquiring and onboarding high-potential local businesses within the fitness and wellness sectors. This is a predominantly field-based role (70–80% travel) ideal for those who thrive on face-to-face interactions, relationship-building, and acting as a trusted local representative of our brand. With a growing team and an evolving strategy, this position provides the opportunity to influence the future of our field sales approach.
What You’ll Do
- Expand our merchant network by prospecting, pitching, and closing new businesses in your designated territory.
- Adopt a field-first strategy: visit prospective merchants daily, participate in local events, and cultivate relationships with community and industry insiders.
- Manage the complete sales cycle, from outreach and drop-ins to negotiations and closures, utilizing a combination of in-person, phone, email, and virtual communications.
- Regularly meet or exceed monthly acquisition quotas and pipeline conversion targets.
- Serve as a local market expert, identifying unexploited opportunities that align with customer demand.
- Maintain a disciplined pipeline, tracking vital activities and performance metrics in Salesforce.
Travel Expectations
- Travel will account for 70–80% of your time, which includes local day trips and occasional extended regional travel.
- Depending on business needs, there may be instances of travel outside your assigned region.
