Position: Field Service Engineer
Location: Higashi Hiroshima, Japan
Job Overview:
As a key driver of business success, you will be responsible for the installation, adjustment, and maintenance of equipment within customer clean rooms. Experienced candidates will also engage in process development and improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strictly adhere to all safety protocols, prioritizing safety and quality.
- Perform the installation, upgrades, and maintenance of semiconductor processing equipment.
- Facilitate efficient and consistent customer support through effective communication (phone, email, in-person).
- Analyze equipment log data and generate reports for customers using MS PowerPoint, MS Word, and MS Excel.
- Maximize tool uptime and ensure effective installation and support for hardware issues.
- Manage new evaluation projects and take responsibility for their success.
Qualifications:
- Over 5 years of experience as a field service engineer in a related industry.
- Strong communication skills to facilitate customer interactions.
- Business-level proficiency in Japanese (JLPT N2 or higher) and proficiency in English (TOEIC score of 600 or above).
