The Field Service Technician I is essential in guaranteeing the precise installation of low voltage systems. This role requires not only effective teamwork but also the ability to independently manage projects. In addition to installation, the technician will provide essential customer training on system operations. This position demands strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to accuracy to ensure the successful deployment and operation of various systems.
Responsibilities:
Review project quotes and scopes before initiating onsite execution.
Inspect installation sites, analyze work orders, architectural plans, and detailed installation processes.
Install low voltage cabling, devices, and systems while adhering to specified guidelines, codes, and industry standards as directed by the supervisor.
Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with installed systems.
Conduct regular maintenance and inspections of systems as required.
Respond promptly to service calls and customer inquiries.
Travel extensively primarily within the Midwest, including occasional weekend work for multiple sites; return home most weekends.
Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure customer satisfaction.
