Key Responsibilities:
As a Field Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our equipment operates at peak performance. You will be responsible for:
- Installing and modifying equipment at customer facilities to meet specified functionality requirements.
- Traveling overnight up to 50% of the time as needed.
- Preparing radioactive material for shipment, adhering to safety protocols.
- Reviewing performance reports and documentation from customers to diagnose issues with malfunctioning products.
- Analyzing findings to determine the root cause of problems and recommending appropriate repairs or replacements.
- Coordinating with engineering and customer service teams to expedite problem resolution.
- Providing both remote and on-site technical assistance to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
- Submitting detailed service reports for customer invoicing and ensuring timely submission of expense reports according to company policy.
- Analyzing technical problem reports to identify trends and recommend modifications for future design and maintenance processes.
- Developing comprehensive service handbooks and bulletins based on field investigations and engineering changes.
- Serving as a communication link between customers and the company to ensure top-notch service delivery.
- Conducting training on Radiation Safety and equipment operation, demonstrating skills to both team members and customers.
