Role Overview:
The primary role of the Field Support Technician is to visit customer homes to measure spaces and conduct job site surveys for custom cabinetry projects while delivering outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate designs against on-site specifications and communicate necessary design adjustments to team members, including Designers, Manufacturing, and the Install Team.
- Collaborate with Design Consultants to gather precise measurements, photographs, and project data for effective sales and design processes.
- Assist Design Consultants in collecting files and samples from the office as required for measurements.
- Conduct re-measurements for project redesigns as necessary.
- Produce copies of CAD designs when discrepancies are identified at the job site, providing detailed specifications to assist designers with revisions.
- Review proposal specifications to understand project scope and identify potential installation challenges.
- Perform job-site surveys and create detailed plans for the installation team, clearly communicating installation directions and expectations.
