About the Role:We are in search of a passionate and multi-skilled Operations Test Engineer to spearhead field test deployments, operator training, safety standardization, and validation processes across diverse testing environments. This position serves as a crucial link between engineering development and real-world execution, ensuring that autonomous machines are operated safely, test protocols are thoroughly documented, and systems are validated for optimal data collection and performance.The ideal candidate will possess a strong enthusiasm for autonomous systems, coupled with a solid technical understanding of sensors, perception systems, and control software, alongside the practical skills to ensure safe and efficient field operations.Key Responsibilities:Lead and conduct Safe Test Operation (STO) and Automated Test Operation (ATO) procedures for autonomous platforms.Coordinate STO activities across various test sites and environments.Design and implement onboarding and certification programs for operators and technicians focused on autonomous vehicles and robotics.Oversee operational safety guidelines by machine type, ensuring compliance with industry safety and validation standards.Collaborate with Software, Machine Learning, and Hardware Engineering teams to bring new autonomous machines online and validate firmware/software integrations.
