Job Overview
Join FedEx Logistics EU as the Finance Manager for the Benelux region, where you will oversee all financial and accounting functions. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring internal controls and compliance with company policies while collaborating with the Country Manager and management team to provide vital financial insights. You will be responsible for delivering accurate financial reports that drive strategic business decisions, and initiate projects focused on cost control and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage comprehensive financial reporting and accounting operations.
- Oversee the month-end closing process, payments, collections, financial analysis, and budgeting.
- Deliver timely and accurate financial reports and insights to senior management.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and compliance with SOX, US GAAP, and local tax regulations.
- Serve as the primary finance liaison for corporate, regional, and local teams, as well as auditors and banks.
- Drive continuous improvement in forecasting, reporting, and controlling processes.
- Develop and deploy financial systems and reporting tools tailored to business needs.
- Establish KPI dashboards and conduct regular performance reviews.
- Analyze the profitability of new projects and initiatives.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team while managing performance and succession planning.
- Prepare and monitor the annual budget, reporting results monthly to meet financial targets.
- Liaise with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance.
- Ensure timely submission of tax returns in compliance with regulations.
- Implement process enhancements and best practices across various functions.
