As the Finance Manager at Kuok Singapore Limited, you will lead the financial operations of our Manila City office, ensuring effective management of the accounting system and compliance with financial regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Direct the daily operations of the Finance department, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
Supervise tax preparation, auditing processes, banking, and other critical financial needs.
Analyze financial data and generate timely, precise financial reports, including balance sheet reconciliation.
Develop and uphold a robust system of policies and procedures to maintain effective control over finance activities.
Lead internal and external financial and tax audits.
Oversee the issuance of company official receipts.
Address financial and welfare concerns of seafarers, including government contributions and salary matters.
Collaborate with other departments as a Finance Business Partner.
Support initiatives for process harmonization and improvement, focusing on reporting structures and templates.
Perform other ad-hoc duties as required.
Team Leadership
Engage in recruitment, training, performance assessment, and staff engagement activities.
Update the orientation checklist and conduct briefings for new employees.
Track work progress to ensure deadlines for financial management reports are met.
Corporate Compliance and Process Improvement
Manage corporate income tax payments through the Electronic Filing and Payment System (eFPS), ensuring timely submission of necessary reports.
Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 Standards by delivering quality work.
Initiate risk-based analyses to prevent potential nonconformities.
Monitor the effectiveness of corrective actions taken to address non-conformities.
Establish, implement, and maintain processes suitable for the quality management system to achieve desired outcomes.
Foster awareness of customer requirements throughout the organization.
File and organize work instructions and other quality management system records.
Provide recommendations for internal controls and process improvements.
