In this pivotal role, you will engage with current, prospective, and alumni students, guiding them through the intricacies of the financial aid process. Reporting directly to the Director of Financial Aid, you will be instrumental in administering and processing student financial aid to ensure a positive cash flow while handling various essential tasks within the financial aid department.
- Manage Verification processes and Disbursement of funds
- Allocate state and federal aid to eligible students in accordance with established regulations and policies
- Provide counseling for students and their families regarding financial aid
- Generate estimates and packaging information for financial aid
- Calculate Return of Title IV funds
- Oversee Default Management and Financial Literacy initiatives
- Conduct audits and run integrity reports
- Collaborate with other departments to support student needs
- Stay updated on federal regulations and compliance
- Assist with Private Loans and packaging VA benefits
- Perform additional duties as assigned
