As a Financial Analyst, you will become part of the finance team in a stimulating environment. Reporting directly to the corporate controller, you will be responsible for a wide range of accounting tasks, including cost analysis against budgets for all expense categories (excluding revenues). You will also contribute to month-end closing processes through bank reconciliations, payment processor reconciliations, tracking prepaid expenses, accounts payable, depreciation, and other related tasks.
A key aspect of your responsibilities will be to support cash management by preparing and monitoring cash flow, thereby optimizing the company's financial visibility and supporting strategic decision-making.
Beyond your operational responsibilities, you will actively participate in the complete accounting cycle and support special projects aimed at enhancing financial processes. Your role will be essential in facilitating MEDFAR's rapid growth while ensuring the rigor and efficiency of its accounting practices.
Main Responsibilities
- Analyze costs compared to budget for all expense categories (excluding revenues).
- Manage timely bank reconciliations for all bank accounts and credit cards.
- Perform reconciliations related to payment processors, prepaid expenses, accounts payable, depreciation, and other month-end tasks.
- Support cash management by preparing, tracking, and analyzing cash flows to optimize financial visibility and support strategic decision-making.
- Manage and maintain continuity schedules, such as prepaid payments and accounts payable.
- Assist the controller in daily operations and month-end analysis, along with other requested tasks.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve data accuracy and the efficiency of accounting processes.
- Contribute to meeting the company's audit requirements.
- Actively participate in the continuous improvement of financial processes and special projects related to MEDFAR's rapid growth.
- Prepare and track monthly tax filings (QC, BC, US).
- Assist the team with other related projects or initiatives.
