ABOUT THE ROLE
Join our team as a Financial Compliance Auditor, where you will play a vital role in supporting the Y-12 National Security Complex for the Department of Energy (DOE). This is a full-time position located in Oak Ridge, Tennessee.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct audits that comply with Global Internal Audit Standards from the Institute of Internal Auditors, including fieldwork, working paper preparation, and audit reporting.
- Evaluate evidentiary data to provide objective assessments regarding the effectiveness of control systems and adherence to established accounting policies.
- Assess the allowability, allocability, and reasonableness of incurred or proposed costs.
- Revise the initial audit program with appropriate management approval.
- Identify potential issue areas outside the scope of the audit and prepare memorandums for management or the organizational audit file.
- Draft working papers in accordance with auditing standards.
