- Corporate Functions Support:
- Focus on core areas including Finance, Marketing, Legal, Human Resources, Real Estate, Procurement, and Transformation/Strategy.
- Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Team Participation:
- Engage in local FP&A team activities, ensuring timely output consolidation.
- Adhere to planning cycles and reporting deadlines.
- Month-End Processes:
- Contribute to month-end close activities and provide pre-close expense status updates.
- Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Assist in the annual budget and three-year plan, along with ongoing forecasting processes.
- Support monthly and quarterly financial reporting.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Utilize PBI and SAP Business Objects for effective data analysis and visualization.
- Manage expenses through P&L analysis and variance reporting.
- Provide regular updates on the finance master data.
- Financial Control and Automation:
- Ensure monthly closing compliance with USGAAP policies.
- Drive automation and standardization of financial processes.
- KPI Monitoring and Reporting:
- Achieve KPIs for FP&A service effectiveness and efficiency.
- Regularly assess and report on data quality and process performance.
- Trend Analysis and Ad Hoc Work:
- Evaluate current and historical trends through key performance indicators.
- Manage ad hoc tasks such as purchase orders, accruals, and prepayments.
- Conduct ad hoc analyses for finance and leadership, aiding in critical pitches for senior management.
- Collaboration and Liaison:
- Act as a bridge between finance and non-finance teams.
- Collaborate closely with FP&A Hub colleagues and global FP&A peers.
- Finance Business Partners (FBPs) Support:
- Assist FBPs of Global Functions in operational meetings and forecasting submissions.
- Manage operational expenses, one-time costs, and capital budgets.
- Systems and Automation:
- Work with systems like SAP4 HANA, NEA, and PowerBI, ensuring data alignment and adherence to controls.
- Quality Assurance and Compliance:
- Ensure quality control of productivity trackers and compliance with procedures and policies.
