Join OnLogic as a Firmware Engineer, where you will spearhead the development of firmware and software coding for various microcontroller (MCU) applications utilized in our innovative products, including motherboards and expansion cards. Your role will also encompass supporting external partners in BIOS creation for our proprietary computer motherboards. You will engage in projects from the initial concept phase through development, prototype construction, validation, and into volume production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the product definition and design team to identify and document microcontroller firmware requirements.
- Conduct bare metal firmware development for MCUs.
- Execute RTOS porting and develop device drivers.
- Define BIOS specifications in partnership with product teams.
- Work closely with external partners on UEFI BIOS development.
- Assist manufacturing teams in building prototypes for evaluation.
- Validate the functionality of firmware and BIOS on prototypes.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the company's development processes.
- Support the product certification process, including documentation and issue resolution.
- Address product sustainability and customer requirements concerning software and firmware-related issues.
