The Opportunity
As a Float Medical Assistant, also known as a Flex One Medical Lab Services Specialist/Member Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in delivering an outstanding patient experience. Your responsibilities will include performing venipuncture and providing various clinical support services. You will act as an ambassador for our patients, utilizing your interpersonal skills and commitment to service excellence. By removing barriers to care, you will help create a truly exceptional in-office experience.
Your duties will also include maintaining the aesthetic of the office lobby in line with the One Medical brand, being the first point of contact for patients, and assisting Practice Coordinators, Operations Managers, or providers with additional support as needed. Our Flex Lab Services Specialists/Member Support Specialists work across multiple offices within a market.
As a collaborative team player, you will apply your innovative problem-solving abilities to tackle challenges and tasks. You will combine your specimen collection expertise with a compassionate approach during every interaction with patients, whether at the front desk or in the lab. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential, as is your ability to identify opportunities for customer-centric solutions, all while demonstrating empathy and focus in every interaction.
