As a Flow Cytometry Scientist, you will engage in flow cytometry projects, encompassing assay development, validation, and execution with precision and timeliness. You will conduct assays in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) while contributing to the creation and enhancement of new methodologies. Additional responsibilities may include executing other cell-based assays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Primarily perform flow cytometry and other immune assays.
- Design experiments independently, analyze data accurately, and present findings effectively.
- Ensure high-quality output while enhancing productivity metrics.
- Assist in the establishment and refinement of SOP documentation.
- Address and resolve routine scientific challenges.
- Identify and implement emerging laboratory techniques.
- Promote and uphold safe laboratory practices.
- Collaborate with other technical teams to share resources and expertise.
- Support operational qualification and performance checks of new equipment.
- Monitor project expenses related to product and service/R&D.
- Act as a scientific resource for internal teams and external clients.
- Assist in the preparation and editing of contract and grant proposals as necessary.
- Contribute to the writing and publication of scientific papers, abstracts, and chapters to uphold the company’s scientific integrity and reputation.
- Present completed work at scientific meetings and in publications.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
