Mission
As a key player at Polymarket, you will serve as the vital technical liaison between our innovative exchange platform and institutional partners. Your expertise will drive the seamless integration of Financial Clearing Merchants (FCMs), liquidity providers, and Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) into Polymarket's regulated systems, ensuring they transition smoothly from testing environments to full production while maintaining top performance, reliability, and compliance standards.
Your Responsibilities
Integration Engineering – Design, implement, and deploy FIX, REST, and WebSocket integrations tailored for institutional participants.
Partner Enablement – Collaborate closely with engineers from FCMs, LPs, and ISVs to facilitate their certification and onboarding processes.
Performance Optimization – Conduct benchmarking and tuning of order routing, minimizing latency and maximizing throughput between client systems and Polymarket APIs.
Testing & Certification – Create automated testing suites for validating connectivity and data feeds.
Support & Troubleshooting – Deliver Tier-2/3 technical support to institutional clients, diagnosing issues related to APIs, networking, and clearing workflows.
Documentation – Author and maintain comprehensive developer guides, integration documentation, and operational runbooks for external partners.
Feedback Loop – Gather partner insights and relay this feedback to Engineering and Markets to enhance our product offerings.
Compliance Collaboration – Partner with Compliance and Information Security teams to ensure all integrations align with access control, data handling, and system safety protocols.
Your Profile
5-8 years of experience as a software engineer or integration engineer within trading, exchange, or financial infrastructure sectors.
Proficient in Python, Go, or Java with a solid understanding of debugging network protocols and APIs.
Strong knowledge of FIX, REST, and WebSocket protocols.
Experience in supporting institutional clients or market makers in live production environments.
Excellent communication skills, able to bridge technical and business discussions effectively.
Passionate about external-facing technical roles and dedicated to partner success.
Familiarity with CFTC or SEC access and security regulations is advantageous.
