Your Role
As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you will engage closely with customers during both pre-sales and post-sales phases. This role is technical and customer-facing, suited for individuals who thrive on solving real-world implementation challenges, collaborating with engineering teams, and ensuring successful product deployments in various environments.
You will be instrumental in conducting pilots, proofs of concept, integrations, and troubleshooting technical issues. Ideal candidates will possess robust engineering skills, enjoy interpersonal interactions alongside technical tasks, and aspire to work at the intersection of product development, engineering, and customer success within a dynamic startup environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage directly with customers during technical discussions in pre-sales and post-sales contexts.
- Support proofs of concept, pilot projects, and production deployments.
- Troubleshoot integration challenges and assist customers in their development processes.
- Translate customer needs into effective technical solutions.
- Work closely with product, engineering, and sales teams to facilitate customer progress.
- Represent the company with credibility in discussions with senior engineers and enterprise stakeholders.
- Identify and relay recurring customer needs and implementation trends to internal teams.
