Position Overview
As a Forward Deployed Software Engineer (FDSE), you will engage directly with clients to grasp their most critical challenges and devise impactful solutions that leverage data. Our clients depend on Palantir’s technologies for essential operations, often beginning with broad inquiries like, “What causes our flight delays?” or “How can we enhance our detection of money laundering?” In this role, you will harness your analytical skills, creativity, and technical expertise to assist organizations in utilizing their data for meaningful change. You will gain invaluable insights and contribute to significant sectors and institutions globally.
In your capacity as an FDSE, your responsibilities will mirror those of a startup CTO: collaborating with small teams under minimal supervision and overseeing the complete execution of high-stakes projects. Your daily activities may include discussing system architecture with fellow engineers, managing large-scale data, coding tailored web applications, engaging with customer executives, or strategizing for your team’s initiatives.
