As a Forward Deployed Software Engineer (FDSE) at First Resonance, you will play a pivotal role as a problem solver and key member of our elite 'Delta' team. This position involves being deployed to customer sites, where you will tackle their most pressing challenges. You will collaborate closely with our clients to fully understand their operations, identify unique problems, and develop customized solutions that integrate seamlessly with our ION platform.
Are you passionate about supporting eVTOLs, rockets, robotics, and autonomous vehicle manufacturers? In this role, your contributions will directly influence our customers' success in achieving their objectives. Your tasks may vary from collaborating with engineering teams to create new features that automate tedious processes, to acting as the lead in resolving production issues.
Key Responsibilities
Act as a technical expert on-site, providing hands-on support for the implementation, utilization, and enhancement of ION.
Engage with customers to comprehend their critical issues and devise coherent strategies and intelligent solutions, such as custom web applications and large-scale data management.
Take full ownership of developing and managing the delivery of solutions while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code across the technology stack.
Collaborate in small teams, taking end-to-end responsibility for executing high-stakes projects.
Work closely with the First Resonance team to continually enhance the product based on customer insights and requirements.
Minimum Qualifications
Strong engineering foundation in disciplines such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, or Data Science.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to establish relationships with diverse stakeholders, including customers, their leadership, and First Resonance teams.
Experience in deploying production-quality code.
Adept at collaborating with both technical and non-technical team members in fast-paced environments.
Willingness to travel up to 40% to customer locations.
