In this pivotal role, you will manage the entire sales process, from initial contact to closing deals, while also constructing a robust pipeline from the ground up. You will play a key role in developing a scalable commercial strategy that will propel our growth.
With solid backing through permanent capital and established distribution channels in regulated sectors such as higher education, public sector, and healthcare, you will have the opportunity to drive significant impact in our organization. Your Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, demonstrations, proposals, negotiations, and closing deals.
- Generate a robust sales pipeline through targeted outreach, events, strategic partnerships, and leveraging your personal network.
- Effectively engage with complex buying committees within enterprise and public-sector organizations.
- Acquire new clients in higher education, healthcare, and related sectors.
Leverage AI for Competitive Advantage
- Utilize AI tools and automation to enhance outbound efforts, streamlining what traditionally required a full sales development team.
- Create AI-driven workflows for prospecting, personalized outreach, call preparation, and follow-up processes.
- Employ AI to analyze customer interactions, discern buying signals, and identify patterns that refine your sales approach.
- Continuously enhance your go-to-market strategy through experimentation and iteration.
Contribute to Our Sales Playbook
- Refine our Ideal Customer Profile and sales messaging based on real-time market feedback.
- Gather insights from buyers to collaborate with product and engineering teams in shaping our roadmap.
- Document effective strategies to facilitate quicker onboarding for future team members—you're laying the groundwork for our sales team.
Measuring Success
- In the first 30 days: Achieve product fluency, establish a target account list, and initiate outbound outreach that generates conversations.
- Within 60-90 days: Develop a qualified sales pipeline with measurable conversion rates and capitalize on early wins, leveraging AI workflows to boost sales velocity.
- By the 6-12 month mark: Achieve consistent closed-won revenue, secure multiple reference customers, and build a compelling case for scaling the sales team.
