Your Role
Design and Build Core Backend Systems. Make critical architectural decisions across our backend stack, including Python, Node.js, and PostgreSQL. Own features from conception through deployment and user interaction. We value a pragmatic approach with a strong opinions, weakly held mindset.
Create Scalable Data Infrastructure. Develop and manage pipelines for ingesting, normalizing, indexing, and querying large, multi-modal datasets from various sources, including news and social media.
Develop High-Performance APIs and Services. Build reliable interfaces and internal services that enhance our product, ensuring security and an effortless experience for users.
Integrate AI into Practical Workflows. Implement large language models and classical machine learning models for applications requiring high uptime, including prompt execution and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines.
Engage with Clients. Participate in client calls to understand their challenges and iteratively develop impactful solutions for communications and public affairs teams.
