Founded by Sean Mullaney, former European CIO at Stripe, alongside a talented team of alumni from Stripe, Wise, Wayflyer, Nubank, and Tide, we have successfully secured $3 million in pre-seed funding led by Frontline Ventures. After an intensive nine-month development phase, we are now in private beta, serving numerous VC-backed startups that are gaining unprecedented insights into their financial health.
The challenges we address are significant: European startups often find themselves caught between the limitations of neobanks and the cumbersome nature of traditional corporate banking. Many are forced to juggle multiple financial tools, handle manual processes, and miss out on potential interest from cash deposits. Our AI automation is designed to alleviate these burdens, allowing founders to prioritize business growth over tedious financial tasks.
About the Role

We are on a mission to create a financial home for European startups, and we believe the most effective method is to establish ourselves as the most trusted partner within the founder ecosystem. This means actively engaging with founders, curating meaningful experiences, and fostering a network that evolves and strengthens over time.
We are seeking a Founding Community Builder to spearhead this initiative from the ground up. As one of the first members of our team, you will play a pivotal role in defining Seapoint's presence in the market. Your responsibilities will include crafting our community strategy, orchestrating events, forging partnerships, and developing a scalable playbook for growth.
If you've ever enjoyed an intimate gathering with fellow founders or left a well-curated event feeling inspired by your connections, that's the experience we aim to replicate at scale across London and Dublin—think intimate, high-value, founder-centric interactions over generic sponsored events.
The community framework is already in place, and the ecosystem flywheel is designed. Now, we need a passionate individual to bring this vision to fruition.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead the community strategy from inception to execution. Clearly define the essence of Seapoint's founder community, identify its target audience, and develop growth mechanisms that prioritize engagement over mere acquisition.
- Design and implement a premier events program. Organize exclusive supper clubs with 10 to 15 founders alongside experienced operators, conduct finance deep-dives, storytelling evenings, and seasonal social gatherings. Each event should leave a lasting impression.
- Manage the partnership ecosystem that fuels community growth. Collaborate with accelerators, VCs, startup communities, and ecosystem platforms to co-create impactful events, broaden reach, and build the trust that encourages founders to engage with Seapoint even before using our product.
