You will work closely with Data Science, Product, Trust, Security, Legal, and Policy teams to proactively disrupt fraud before it affects our community. In this dynamic and interdisciplinary environment, you'll influence strategic decisions and collaborate with international experts to set new standards in fraud prevention.
Your Impact:
As a Fraud Strategy Specialist, you will conduct complex investigations to identify and disrupt emerging fraud patterns before they reach operational teams. Your efforts will directly enhance the platform's resilience against fraud and mitigate financial risks by translating your investigative analyses into actionable controls. Success will be measured by your ability to uncover hidden fraud networks, establish effective early warning systems, and develop proactive policies that reduce the workload of downstream cases.
A Typical Day:
- Conduct thorough investigations into complex or multiple fraud patterns and prepare structured, detailed reports.
- Analyze large sets of ambiguous data to detect weak signals and new fraud-related threats.
- Develop and recommend preventive measures, detection triggers, and process/policy improvements based on investigation findings.
- Collaborate daily with Data Science, Product, and other teams to drive fraud prevention initiatives.
