About the job
We invite you to submit your CV in English, along with your English proficiency level.
At Mindrift, we bridge the gap between talented specialists and exciting, project-based AI opportunities with leading technology companies. Our primary focus lies in the testing, evaluation, and enhancement of AI systems. Please note that participation is project-based and does not constitute permanent employment.
Opportunity Overview
Each project presents unique challenges, and contributors may be involved in the following:
- Crafting original computational data science tasks that replicate real-world analytical workflows across various industries, including telecommunications, finance, government, e-commerce, and healthcare.
- Developing tasks that necessitate Python programming for resolution, utilizing libraries such as Pandas, Numpy, Scipy, Sklearn, Statsmodels, Matplotlib, and Seaborn.
- Ensuring that tasks are computationally demanding and cannot be solved manually within reasonable timeframes.
- Formulating tasks that require complex reasoning in data processing, statistical analysis, feature engineering, predictive modeling, and extracting insights.
- Creating deterministic tasks with reproducible outcomes, avoiding stochastic elements, or using fixed random seeds for exact replication.
- Focusing on genuine business challenges, such as customer analytics, risk assessment, fraud detection, forecasting, optimization, and operational efficiency.
- Designing comprehensive tasks that cover the entire data science pipeline, from data ingestion and cleaning to exploratory data analysis, modeling, validation, and deployment considerations.
- Incorporating big data processing scenarios that require scalable computational methodologies.
- Verifying solutions using Python and standard data science libraries alongside statistical techniques.
- Clearly documenting task statements with realistic business contexts and providing verified correct solutions.
Desired Qualifications
This opportunity is ideal for data science professionals with experience in Python, seeking part-time, non-permanent projects. Candidates should possess:
- A minimum of 5 years of hands-on data science experience demonstrating measurable business impact.
- A portfolio of completed projects and publications that highlight real-world problem-solving capabilities.
- Expertise in Python programming specifically for data science (including Pandas, Numpy, Scipy, Scikit-learn, Statsmodels).
- Deep knowledge of statistical analysis and machine learning algorithms and their practical applications.
- Proficiency in SQL and database operations for data manipulation and analysis.
- Experience with Generative AI technologies (such as LLMs, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, prompt engineering, and vector databases).
- An understanding of MLOps practices and model deployment workflows.
- Familiarity with modern frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and LangChain.
- Strong written English skills (C1 level or higher).
