Role Overview
Each project presents its own set of unique challenges. As a contributor, you may be responsible for:
- Crafting advanced energy engineering problems that reflect industry standards;
- Assessing AI solutions for accuracy, underlying assumptions, and limitations;
- Validating calculations or simulations utilizing Python libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, and SciPy;
- Enhancing AI reasoning to adhere to professional logical standards;
- Implementing structured scoring systems for complex, multi-step problems.
Candidate Profile
This opportunity is ideal for energy engineers proficient in Python who are looking for part-time, non-permanent projects. We are particularly interested in candidates who possess:
- A degree in Energy Engineering or a related field, such as Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, or Electronics;
- A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in energy engineering;
- Exceptional written English skills (C1/C2 level);
- Strong proficiency in Python for numerical validation purposes;
- A reliable internet connection.
Professional certifications (e.g., PE, CEng, EMP, CEM) and experience with international or applied projects are advantageous.

Project Commitment

Compensation
Contributors can earn up to $55 per hour, depending on their expertise and contribution level. Compensation varies by project scope, complexity, and required skills. Note that other projects may feature different remuneration levels based on their specific needs.
