Opportunity Overview
Each project presents unique challenges, and contributors may be tasked with:
- Creating complex physics problems that mirror real-world applications;
- Assessing AI solutions for accuracy, assumptions, and limitations;
- Validating calculations or simulations using Python (NumPy, Pandas, SciPy);
- Enhancing AI reasoning to conform to industry-standard logic;
- Employing structured evaluation criteria for multi-step problems.
Ideal Candidate Profile
This role is well-suited for physicists with Python experience who are open to part-time, non-permanent projects. The ideal candidates will possess:
- A degree in Physics or a related field, such as Engineering Physics, Thermodynamics, Statistical Mechanics, Optics, or Acoustics;
- A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in physics;
- Exceptional written English skills (C1/C2 level);
- Strong proficiency in Python for numerical validation;
- A reliable internet connection.
Professional certifications (such as CPhys, EurPhys, MInstP) and experience in international or applied projects will be considered advantageous.

Project Time Commitment
During active phases, tasks are estimated to require approximately 10–20 hours per week, depending on project needs. This is an estimate and not a guaranteed workload.
Compensation
Contributors can earn up to $32 per hour, contingent on their level of expertise and contribution pace. Compensation may vary across projects based on their complexity and requirements.
