Opportunity Overview:
Each project presents distinct challenges, but contributors may be involved in:
- Developing rigorous physics problems that mirror professional scenarios;
- Assessing AI solutions for accuracy, assumptions, and limitations;
- Validating calculations or simulations utilizing Python (NumPy, Pandas, SciPy);
- Enhancing AI reasoning to align with industry-standard methodologies;
- Implementing structured scoring criteria for complex, multi-step problems.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
This role is an excellent fit for physicists with Python experience seeking flexible, part-time projects. The ideal candidates will possess:
- A degree in Physics or a related field such as Engineering Physics, Thermodynamics, Statistical Mechanics, or Acoustics;
- A minimum of 3 years of professional physics experience;
- Advanced written English skills (C1/C2);
- Proficiency in Python for numerical validation;
- A reliable internet connection.
Additional qualifications such as professional certifications (e.g., CPhys, EurPhys, MInstP) and experience with international or applied projects are advantageous.

Project Commitment:
Engagements are expected to require approximately 10–20 hours per week during active phases, contingent on project needs. This is an estimated workload and not guaranteed.
Compensation:
Participants can earn up to $36 per hour, contingent upon their expertise and contributions. Compensation may vary across projects based on scope, complexity, and required skills. Note that other projects may offer different earning potentials depending on specific requirements.
