About the job
We invite you to submit your CV in English, clearly indicating your level of English proficiency.
At Mindrift, we bridge skilled specialists with exciting project-based AI opportunities for top tech companies, dedicated to testing, evaluating, and enhancing AI systems. This role involves project-based participation rather than permanent employment.
Opportunity Overview:
Each project presents unique challenges, where contributors may:
- Craft original computational statistics problems that replicate real-world mathematical research workflows;
- Develop problems that require Python programming for solutions (utilizing libraries such as Numpy, SciPy, Sympy);
- Ensure the problems are computationally demanding and cannot be solved manually within reasonable timeframes (days or weeks);
- Formulate problems that necessitate complex reasoning in domains like number theory, combinatorics, graph theory, and numerical analysis;
- Base the problems on actual research challenges or practical applications within mathematical practice;
- Validate solutions using Python along with standard mathematical libraries;
- Clearly document problem statements and provide verified correct answers.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
This position is suitable for statistics experts with Python experience who are open to part-time, project-based work. Ideally, candidates will possess:
- A degree in Statistics or a related field;
- Proficiency in Python for numerical validation; experience with MATLAB, R, C, SQL, Numpy, Pandas, SciPy, or any relevant programming language is acceptable;
- At least 2 years of professional experience, including applied, research, or teaching roles;
- Strong written English skills (C1+ level);
- Professional certifications (e.g., CMME, SAS Certifications, CAP) and experience with international or applied projects are advantageous.
How the Process Works:
Apply → Pass qualifications → Join a project → Complete tasks → Receive payment.
Project Time Commitment:
This project is estimated to require approximately 10–20 hours per week during active phases, depending on project specifications. This is an estimate and does not guarantee a set workload while the project is active.
Compensation:
Contributors can earn up to $11 per hour, based on their level and pace of contribution. Compensation may vary across projects depending on scope, complexity, and the level of expertise required. Please note that other projects on the platform may offer varying earning levels based on their specific requirements.
