Key Responsibilities:
- Design innovative computational engineering challenges that replicate real-world engineering processes.
- Develop problems that necessitate Python programming for engineering calculations and simulations.
- Ensure challenges are computationally demanding, utilizing numerical methods or iterative solutions.
- Create problems related to system design, optimization, and analysis.
- Base problems on genuine research challenges or practical applications derived from engineering practices.
- Validate solutions using Python along with standard engineering libraries.
- Clearly document problem statements and provide verified correct solutions.
Candidate Profile:
This role is ideal for engineers with Python experience seeking part-time, non-permanent engagements. Ideal candidates will have:
- A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in Python for numerical validation. Familiarity with MATLAB, R, C, SQL, Numpy, Pandas, SciPy, or other programming languages is also acceptable.
- A minimum of 2 years of professional experience, which can include applied, research, or teaching roles.
- An understanding of practical engineering constraints and approximation methods.
- Strong written communication skills in English (C1 level or above).
- Professional certifications (e.g., CMME, SAS Certifications, CAP) and experience in international or applied projects are considered advantageous.

Project Time Expectations:
Tasks are estimated to require approximately 10–20 hours per week during active phases, depending on project demands. This is an estimate and not a guaranteed workload.
Compensation:
Contributors can earn up to $31 per hour, based on their expertise and contribution pace. Compensation may vary across projects depending on scope, complexity, and required skills.
