About the Role
As an interpreter, you will listen, comprehend, and accurately relay information from the original 'source' language into the 'target' language, ensuring 100% accuracy. Your responsibilities will include:
- Interpreting for clients using legal, health, and local government services
- Verifying the understanding of non-English speakers after each statement
- Providing conference, consecutive, and public service interpreting
- Handling highly confidential information
- Facilitating communication between service users and providers
