The Role:
As an interpreter, your responsibility will be to listen, comprehend, and accurately reproduce content from the source language to the target language without any loss of meaning.
Your duties will include:
- Providing interpretation services for individuals accessing legal, health, and local government services
- Verifying comprehension with non-English speakers after each statement
- Engaging in conference, consecutive, and public service interpreting
- Handling sensitive and confidential information
- Facilitating communication between service users and providers
