Key Responsibilities:
As a contributor, you will engage in various tasks that may include:
- Creating mechanical engineering problems suitable for both academic and industry contexts, based on real-world applications.
- Evaluating AI-generated solutions for accuracy, underlying assumptions, and engineering soundness.
- Using Python libraries such as NumPy, SciPy, and Pandas to validate analytical or numerical outcomes.
- Refining AI reasoning processes to ensure they adhere to fundamental principles and established engineering standards.
- Employing structured assessment criteria to evaluate complex problem-solving activities.
Qualifications:
This role is ideal for mechanical engineers with Python skills who are interested in part-time, non-permanent engagements. The ideal candidate will possess:
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fields, such as Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Mechanical Design, or Computational Mechanics.
- A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in mechanical engineering.
- Excellent written English skills (C1/C2 level).
- Proficiency in Python for numerical validation tasks.
- A reliable internet connection.
Professional certifications (such as PE, CEng, or PMP) and experience with international or applied projects will be considered advantageous.

Project Time Expectations:
Tasks are estimated to require approximately 10–20 hours per week during active project phases, contingent upon specific project demands. This is an estimate and not a guaranteed workload.
Compensation:
- Paid contributions at rates up to $50/hour*
- Compensation may be fixed per project or based on individual rates, depending on the project.
- Some projects may include additional incentive payments.
*Note: Compensation rates vary based on expertise, skills, location, project needs, and other factors. Higher rates may be available for highly specialized experts, while lower rates may apply during onboarding or non-essential project phases. Payment details will be provided for each project.
