Key Responsibilities
Each project presents unique challenges. As a contributor, you may be involved in:
- Creating mechanical engineering problems suitable for graduate and industry standards, based on real-world applications.
- Assessing AI-generated solutions for accuracy, underlying assumptions, and engineering principles.
- Validating analytical or numerical outputs utilizing Python libraries such as NumPy, SciPy, and Pandas.
- Enhancing AI reasoning to be consistent with fundamental principles and established engineering standards.
- Applying structured scoring metrics to evaluate multi-step problem-solving approaches.
Desired Qualifications
This position is ideal for mechanical engineers with Python experience, seeking part-time, non-permanent roles. Ideal candidates will possess:
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline, such as Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Mechanical Design, or Computational Mechanics.
- A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in mechanical engineering.
- Exceptional written English skills (C1/C2 level).
- Proficiency in Python for numerical validation tasks.
- A reliable internet connection.
Professional certifications (e.g., PE, CEng, PMP) and experience in international or applied projects will be considered advantageous.
Project Workflow

Project Time Commitment
During active phases, project tasks are estimated to require around 10–20 hours per week, depending on project demands. This is an estimate and may vary.
Compensation
- Compensation for contributions can reach $13/hour*.
- Payment structures may vary between fixed project rates or individualized rates based on project specifics.
- Some projects may offer incentive payments.

Highly specialized experts may receive higher rates, while lower rates might apply during onboarding or non-core project phases. Payment details will be provided for each project.
