About the Opportunity
Contributors will engage in various tasks, including:
- Crafting real-world mechanical engineering problems suitable for both graduate and industry levels.
- Assessing AI-generated solutions for accuracy, assumptions, and engineering rationale.
- Validating analytical or numerical outcomes using Python libraries such as NumPy, SciPy, and Pandas.
- Refining AI reasoning to conform with foundational principles and established engineering standards.
- Employing structured criteria to evaluate multi-step problem-solving processes.
Ideal Candidate Profile
This opportunity is best suited for mechanical engineers with Python experience who are open to part-time, non-permanent engagements. Preferred qualifications include:
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines, including Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Mechanical Design, Computational Mechanics, etc.
- A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in mechanical engineering.
- Exceptional written English skills (C1/C2 level).
- Proficient in Python for numerical analysis and validation.
- A reliable internet connection.
Professional certifications (e.g., PE, CEng, PMP) and experience with international or practical projects are advantageous.

Project Commitment
Tasks are expected to require approximately 10–20 hours per week during active project phases, based on specific project needs. This is an estimation and not a guaranteed workload.
Compensation
Contributors can earn up to $13 per hour, depending on their level of expertise and contribution speed. Compensation varies across different projects based on their scope, complexity, and required skill set.
