About This Opportunity
Each project presents distinct tasks, and contributors might:
- Craft challenging physics problems that mirror real-world applications;
- Assess AI solutions for correctness, underlying assumptions, and constraints;
- Utilize Python (NumPy, Pandas, SciPy) to validate calculations or simulations;
- Enhance AI reasoning to ensure alignment with standard industry logic;
- Implement structured scoring criteria for complex, multi-step problems.
Qualifications We Seek
This role is ideal for physicists with Python expertise seeking part-time, non-permanent projects. Preferred candidates will possess:
- A degree in Physics or related fields, such as Engineering Physics, Thermodynamics, Statistical Mechanics, Optics, or Acoustics;
- A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in physics;
- Exceptional written English skills (C1/C2 level);
- Strong proficiency in Python for numerical validation;
- A stable internet connection.
Professional certifications (e.g., CPhys, EurPhys, MInstP) and international or applied project experience are advantageous.

Project Time Commitment
For this role, tasks are expected to require approximately 10–20 hours per week during active project phases. This is an estimate and does not guarantee specific workload.
Compensation
- Compensation for contributions, with rates up to $32/hour*;
- Fixed project rates or individual rates based on project specifics;
- Some projects may offer incentive payments.
*Note: Compensation rates may vary based on expertise, skills assessment, location, project requirements, and more. Highly specialized experts may receive higher rates, while lower rates may apply during onboarding or non-essential project phases. Payment specifics will be provided per project.
