About the job
Please submit your CV in English and specify your level of English proficiency.
Mindrift connects skilled professionals with project-based opportunities in AI for top technology firms, concentrating on the assessment, testing, and enhancement of AI systems. This is a project-based role, not a permanent position.
Role Overview
Contributors will engage in a variety of tasks, including:
- Creating innovative computational physics problems that replicate authentic physics research workflows.
- Formulating challenges that necessitate Python programming for resolution (utilizing libraries such as Numpy, SciPy, and Sympy).
- Ensuring that problems are computationally demanding and cannot be resolved manually in a reasonable timeframe.
- Designing questions that require complex reasoning in fields like mechanics, electromagnetism, thermodynamics, and quantum mechanics.
- Using real research issues or practical physics applications as the foundation for these problems.
- Validating solutions through Python using established physics simulation libraries.
- Clearly documenting problem statements and providing verified solutions.
Candidate Profile
This opportunity is ideal for quantum researchers with Python expertise who are interested in part-time, non-permanent projects. The ideal candidates will possess:
- A degree in Physics (Theoretical, Experimental, or Computational) or related disciplines.
- Proficiency in Python for numerical validation; familiarity with MATLAB, R, C, SQL, Numpy, Pandas, SciPy, or any programming language is acceptable.
- A minimum of 2 years of professional experience, including applied, research, or teaching roles.
- Experience with numerical simulation methodologies.
- The ability to design problems that reflect real research workflows in physics.
- Creative problem-solving skills across various physics domains.
- Familiarity with physics modeling and approximation techniques.
- Strong written English skills (C1+ level).
Application Process
To apply, follow these steps: Submit your application → Complete qualifications → Join a project → Complete assigned tasks → Receive payment.
Project Commitment
Each project phase is estimated to require approximately 10–20 hours per week, depending on specific project needs. This estimate is not a guaranteed workload and applies only while the project is active.
Compensation
Contributors may earn up to $14 per hour, based on their level of contribution and project pace. Compensation varies across projects depending on their complexity and required expertise. Other projects on the platform may offer different earning levels based on their specifications.
