Key Responsibilities:Collaborate closely with the Senior Sweater Designer to create prototypes and SRS tech packs for seasonal sweater collections.Engage in daily communication with sweater factories to ensure samples align with design expectations throughout the development and production phases.Source yarn, trims, and develop stitch techniques.Manage and prioritize workload according to yarn and garment delivery schedules, ensuring seasonal deadlines are consistently met.Work with production teams to ensure optimal product quality while maintaining profit margins, suggesting cost-effective alternatives when necessary.Essential Qualifications:8+ years of experience in women's sweater design is required.Proven experience in leading fittings.Strong knowledge of sweater garment construction, including stitch, gauge, and technical capabilities.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.Strong time management and multitasking capabilities.Demonstrated sense of urgency and organizational skills; detail-oriented and technically adept.Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Proactive, problem-solving mindset; dedicated, deadline-driven, and self-motivated.This freelance position offers an hourly rate of $45, with potential for full-time opportunities.
