What’s the Opportunity?
As a Frontend Platform Engineer within our Frontend Platform team, you will play a pivotal role in defining and advancing the foundational aspects of Intercom's user interface development. Our objective is to streamline the process for product teams to create, refine, and deliver high-quality products efficiently and securely.
We are in the process of modernizing our frontend stack using React. This position gives you the opportunity to set standards, establish best practices, mentor engineers, and influence design and architectural choices that will shape the future of Intercom’s frontend frameworks.
You will tackle complex challenges that affect the entire product development organization, ensuring our frontend systems, frameworks, and practices evolve alongside the business. Your technical leadership will drive strategic direction across functions, making you both an expert executor and a force multiplier depending on the challenges you face.
