About the Role
As a Full-Stack Engineer in Riskified’s Core Services Group, you will develop and maintain end-to-end applications using a variety of technologies. In this dynamic, agile environment, you will play a crucial role in expanding Riskified’s ecosystem.
Our engineers take full responsibility for their work, from feature planning with Product and Design teams to selecting technologies, designing architecture, coding, reviewing, deploying in a CI/CD environment, and monitoring performance post-deployment.
You will work on customer-facing applications, including a core web tool that enables merchants to analyze orders, take actions, and gain insights through advanced analytics. Whether you are creating precise user interfaces, developing resilient backend logic, or optimizing infrastructure for scalability, you will be engaged in all aspects of the development process.
Our Technology Stack: Scala, Spark, Node.js, Ruby, React, Postgres, Elastic, Redis, AWS, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, CircleCI, and much more.
What You'll Be Doing
- Design and build a highly reliable, available, and scalable architecture for our core services and web applications in a new, promising product.
- Deploy code to production daily through our advanced CI/CD pipelines.
- Actively maintain production systems to ensure smooth operations.
- Contribute to planning the team roadmap and product features.
- Collaborate with design and product teams to define and implement new features.
Qualifications
- B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent certifications.
- 3+ years of proven experience in full-stack development.
- Strong familiarity with various programming languages and frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for technology.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
