Key ResponsibilitiesFeature Development: Craft and deliver engaging user-facing features using NextJS/TypeScript, while developing robust and testable APIs with Python/FastAPI. Turn product specifications into delightful end-to-end experiences for clinic staff, patients, and our implementation team.System Architecture & Scalability: Design and enhance backend systems capable of handling high-volume, low-latency voice, SMS, and chat traffic. Focus on reliability, horizontal scalability, and efficient token utilization with LLM back-ends.Data & Integrations: Develop secure integrations with EHR/PM systems using FHIR, HL7, and custom APIs. Set up data pipelines and storage solutions (PostgreSQL, Redis, S3, etc.) that comply with HIPAA and SOC-2 standards.DevOps & CI/CD: Manage your code in production by writing infrastructure-as-code with Terraform and Helm, automating tests, and monitoring performance metrics. Promote a culture of frequent and reliable production deployments through effective CI/CD pipelines.Quality & Security: Develop unit, integration, and end-to-end tests; perform code reviews to maintain high standards of performance, readability, and security. Collaborate with compliance teams to ensure encryption, logging, and auditability are embedded from day one.Collaboration & Mentorship: Partner with internal teams to iterate swiftly and prioritize user-centric solutions. Share knowledge via design documentation and mentor junior engineers as the team expands.QualificationsMust-Haves4+ years of professional experience in developing and delivering full-stack web applications.Strong proficiency in modern TypeScript on the client side (React, Next.js) and Python on the server side.Familiarity with AI technologies and their application in healthcare settings.
