This position requires working hours from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, including every other weekend.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily cleaning and maintenance of patient rooms, offices, public areas, treatment rooms, and other assigned spaces, which includes collecting and disposing of trash, changing bed linens, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Adhere to policies and procedures regarding patient isolation and contact precautions when needed.
- Restock paper products and supplies in designated areas as necessary.
- Maintain cleaning carts and equipment in proper working order, storing them in designated areas.
- Ensure workplace safety by using wet floor signs, personal protective equipment (PPE), and not leaving supplies unattended.
- Employ cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and effectively, using appropriate chemicals diluted at the correct ratios and stored in labeled containers.
- Notify supervisors of any equipment needing repairs and report safety hazards to management.
- Communicate proactively with supervisors regarding any issues that arise, including the inability to complete tasks as scheduled.
- Foster and maintain positive interpersonal relationships with hospital staff while ensuring patient confidentiality.
- Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively with the diverse customer base.
- Utilize organizational resources efficiently and manage work schedules to complete tasks on time.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance services and operations.
- Present a friendly, professional demeanor and appearance to all patients and visitors.
- Provide accurate information and timely updates to patients and customers, addressing any inquiries or concerns.
