Requirements:Education: Master’s Degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, psychology).Licenses: LPC, LMSW, LMFT, or LMFT-A required.Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare or a combination of education and experience. Inpatient psychiatric experience is preferred.Language Skills: Bi-lingual in English and Spanish is a plus.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:Strong communication, assessment, evaluation, and interpretation skills.Familiarity with psychiatric and addictive disease diagnoses and treatment methods, with flexibility and teaching skills being advantageous.Advanced clinical skills in mental health diagnosis and treatment.Understanding of patient rights and mental health laws.Basic proficiency in PC skills, including Windows OS, Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel; ability to type at least 30 words per minute.Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and encourage others.Strong time management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively.Screening: Must pass a background check, drug screening, physical examination, and provide positive employment references.Physical Demands: Must be able to perform physical tasks such as stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing for extended periods, walking, and lifting/moving objects as necessary.

In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with an interdisciplinary treatment team to deliver both group and individual therapeutic services to patients of all ages—adults, adolescents, and children—who are facing emotional or substance abuse challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct therapeutic sessions in both group and individual formats.
Develop and execute tailored treatment plans in collaboration with the treatment team.
Utilize Cognitive Behavioral Theory effectively in therapeutic practices.
Support discharge planning and preparation for patient activities.
Ensure confidentiality of sensitive patient information.
Perform other related duties as assigned to meet the hospital's needs.
Adhere to the organization’s ethics and customer service standards.
